...great for winter camping...

A great 14 mile loop trail for a short trip or winter camping.

Length: 14 Miles

Entry point: 21

Maps: Fisher Map # F9

Campsites:  Plenty of campsites; a few can be hard to find.

Water: Readily available (most campsites are on Angleworm Lake.. imagine that!)

Trip options: 2-3 day backpack or a long day hike

Features: Scenic overlooks and lakes, rocky ridges and areas with large pines.

Challenges: Hilly

Additional Information:  Also a portage entry for the first 2 miles.  The portage is easily day-hike-able in winter or summer.
